A printed resin set of a personal computer of the 1980s in 1:35 scale from the Turkish brand Ginger Cat. With this set the manufacturer gives one computer with a built-in CRT monitor and one keyboard, that is two parts. It designs them in house and makes them by high-resolution resin printing. These are accessories for a scene, not a kit.
A computer with the screen built into a single case is an icon of the 1980s. In a scene it works as a dating element and at the same time as something the viewer recognizes without explanation. The manufacturer recommends the set for staff rooms, command posts, offices and civilian interiors. Compared with the later set of the 1990s it is more compact and takes up less room on a desk.
First wash the printed resin parts in warm soapy water so that the print residue disappears from the surface and the paint will hold. Cut off the supports with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. The manufacturer recommends applying a base before painting. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, as cement for plastic will not hold here. A dark wash into the recesses and a drybrush on the edges will draw out the detail. Wear a respirator while sanding.
