A printed resin set of a desktop computer of the 1990s in 1:35 scale from the Turkish brand Ginger Cat. With this set the manufacturer gives one computer case, one CRT monitor and one keyboard, that is three parts. It designs them in house and makes them by high-resolution resin printing. These are accessories for a scene, not a kit.
A desktop computer with a deep CRT monitor is a dating element today: in any scene it says at once that we are in the 1990s. It suits command posts, offices, staff rooms, police stations and civilian interiors. Precisely because the equipment is so easy to recognize, it pays to use it with judgment and to match it with the other props in the scene.
First wash the printed resin parts in warm soapy water so that the print residue disappears from the surface and the paint will hold. Cut off the supports with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. The manufacturer recommends applying a base before painting. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, as cement for plastic will not hold here. A dark wash into the recesses and a drybrush on the edges will draw out the detail. Wear a respirator while sanding.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
