Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of decorative concrete breeze blocks in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT, version number 7. The manufacturer gives forty pieces in the package. They list blocks with a pierced pattern in twenty numbered versions; the patterns of the individual versions are not described by the manufacturer and are told apart only by number, so we recommend choosing according to the illustration.
Pierced concrete breeze blocks are an architectural element that from the middle of the twentieth century has filled walls, low walls, railings and fences from Mediterranean cities to the tropics. In a diorama they fill a role that nothing else can take: they let light through, so a wall is not just a surface but a pattern that changes its look depending on where you look at the scene from. The advantage of printing is that the pierced pattern has genuine openings right through, which cannot be done with injection-molded plastic.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
