Bronco 1:35 Krupp Protze Kfz.19 is a plastic kit of the German signals and command car with a radio set.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German truck Krupp Protze in the Kfz.19 form, that is as a signals and command vehicle with a radio set. The maker Bronco Models builds sets with a rich breakdown of parts; for the sister form of the same vehicle, retailers give plastic sprues, clear parts, a photo-etched fret, decals, a painting diagram and instructions. It is a model suited to modelers with some experience.
The Krupp Protze is a six-wheeled truck with 6x4 drive that the German army adopted in 1934 and built until roughly 1941; its characteristic sloping hood earned it the nickname Schnauzer. The Kfz.19 form carried an enclosed box body with a radio set and served staffs and signals units. It was precisely that conversion that turned an ordinary truck into a mobile workplace, so the vehicle tends to be seen in photographs in the rear areas, surrounded by antennas and cables.
Start with the chassis and the running gear, because once the body is glued on you will not get at them. Finish and paint the interior of the box body before you close it up; on a signals vehicle it pays to add cables from fine wire. Bend the photo-etched parts in a bender or between two rulers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). After the base shade give the surfaces a filter, a wash into the recesses and finally dust on the fenders and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
