A decal sheet with graffiti designs in 1:35 scale, marked as the third edition of the range. Painted lettering on walls is everywhere in contemporary and postwar scenes, but it is very hard to paint by hand at scale: a sprayed line has a soft edge and gradations that cannot be imitated with a brush. A decal gets around that problem.
The designs are applied to retaining walls, underpasses, sheet metal fences, shutters, containers, railcars and abandoned vehicles. In 1:35 scale graffiti is large enough to be legible, so it can also be used as a bold feature around which a whole diorama composition is built.
Apply the decal onto a gloss base, or a dull shadow will appear around it. On rough render and on brickwork use a decal softener and press the decal down with a cotton swab so that it follows the texture. Once dry, go over the area with a flat varnish and dust it lightly; freshly painted graffiti on a weathered wall looks out of place.
This is a decal sheet; the model itself is not included. Paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
