Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Humber armored car in the Mk.III version in 1:35 scale from Bronco. Bronco is known in this line for a fine parts breakdown, so the kit offers a high level of detail but calls for patience and a steady hand.
The Humber was the most numerous British armored car of the Second World War. It had four-wheel drive, an armored body with strikingly sloped frontal plates and a turret on the roof. Compared with the earlier forms the Mk.III version received an enlarged turret for a three-man crew, which sped up the work with the armament. The armament consisted of a 15 mm heavy machine gun supplemented by a 7.92 mm machine gun; the following Mk.IV version already carried an American gun. The vehicles served with reconnaissance units in North Africa, in Italy and in northwest Europe.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the inside of the body first, before you close the body up; once it is closed you cannot get inside. Cut the small parts off with a sharp blade and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Fit the tires only once the rims are painted, as masking the rubber and the rim separately is needless work. British sand or olive paint comes alive with a dark wash in the panel lines and dust effects on the fenders and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
