The Humber Armoured Car Mk.IV is a plastic kit of a British armored car with an American gun in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Humber armored car in the Mk.IV version in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The Mk.IV was the last and the most heavily armed version of the type: it received an American 37 mm gun in place of the earlier machine gun armament.
The Humber was the most numerous British armored car of the Second World War. It had four-wheel drive, an armored body with strikingly sloped frontal plates and a turret on the roof. The Mk.IV version meant a substantial change: an American 37 mm gun went into the turret, which for the first time gave the vehicle a chance against a lightly armored target, but left room in the turret for only two men instead of three. The vehicles served with reconnaissance units in Italy and in north-west Europe, and after the war a number of other armies used them.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the inside of the body first, before you close the body up; once it is closed you cannot get inside. Cut the small parts off with a sharp blade and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Set the gun barrel true to the axis and drill out the muzzle if it is not open. Fit the tires only once the rims are painted. British olive or sand paint comes alive with a dark wash in the panel lines and dust effects on the fenders and in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
