An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli Nagmachon heavy armored personnel carrier in the Doghouse II version in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model captures the characteristic tall armored superstructure (the doghouse) and offers rich hull detail. Photo-etched parts and individual track links are usually included. The exact contents of the package are best checked before you start.
The Nagmachon is an Israeli heavy armored personnel carrier developed for use in difficult and built-up terrain, where the risk of being hit by anti-tank rockets and booby traps is high. It was built on the chassis of the Centurion tank (the Sho't in Israeli service) and is notable for its exceptionally heavy armor. Later versions received a raised armored superstructure for the infantry, nicknamed the doghouse, with observation and firing positions.
Finish the running gear first and assemble the individual track links, and only then close up the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the base coat with an airbrush in the Israeli desert shade (Sinai Grey, a desert gray-green), then bring the surface out with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. Accessories, netting and stowage give the model an authentic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
