Trash cans and waste containers belong to a city street just as naturally as paving, and yet they are rarely seen on dioramas. And it is precisely an object like this that makes a scene civilian and at the same time serves as cover for a figure or as a barricade. The set contains two containers complemented by a fret of photo-etched parts for the thin pieces such as handles, lid hinges and wheels, and decals. It is not a kit but an accessory for a scene.

Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. Degrease the photo-etched parts and prime them. Both are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. A waste container never looks new: add battered edges, rust at the bottom and streaks running down from under the lid. Leave one open and fill it with small refuse, because an empty container with a carefully closed lid looks as if it came from a shop window.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
