An injection-molded plastic kit of the Laffly V15T (f) in 1:35 from ICM, a French all-terrain vehicle captured and used by the German Wehrmacht.
Responsibility details are not available.
The injection-molded plastic kit captures the light Laffly V15T all-terrain vehicle in German captured service. The letter (f) in the designation stands for franzoesisch, in other words a machine of French origin taken over by the Wehrmacht. The model from the Ukrainian maker ICM offers fine engraving, a faithful breakdown of the chassis and an open body with a detailed interior. It is an interesting subject for collectors of less common captured equipment.
The Laffly V15T was a French light all-terrain car built by Laffly and Licorne and designed above all as an artillery tractor for a light 25 mm antitank gun. After the fall of France in 1940 production continued for the needs of the Wehrmacht, and the Germans used the vehicle as a tractor and as a staff and liaison car. Its small auxiliary rollers, which made it easier to get over obstacles in the terrain, were a characteristic feature.
Start with the frame, the axles and the interior, which shows well on an open body and is worth some time. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and set the small parts in place unhurriedly. Apply primer and spray with an airbrush; German gray or dark yellow suits a captured machine. Separate the interior and the seats with a different tone, and a wash will bring out the detail of the dashboard and the frame. Pigments will finish off the dust and mud on the chassis and the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
