Milk bottles and crates 1:35 by Plusmodel: sixty-six resin parts for civilian scenes. An accessory for a diorama, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Milk was delivered to households in glass bottles and the empties were put back outside the door. For a diorama builder it is a rewarding civilian detail: a couple of bottles on a doorstep says more about a scene than another crate of ammunition, because it shows the everyday life that went on even in the middle of a war. The set contains sixty-six resin parts, that is both the bottles and the crates they were delivered in.
According to the manufacturer the package contains sixty-six resin castings. Decals, paints and glue are not included. The parts have to be cut from the casting blocks.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. A milk bottle is almost white and translucent: paint it very light, leave the neck a shade darker and go over the whole with gloss varnish. A full crate only has to be suggested by the necks at the top, and shadow will fill the rest.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
