A set of 84 individual roof tiles with a corrugated profile in 1:35 scale, produced by three-dimensional printing. According to the manufacturer they cover an area of roughly 56x96 mm. The key word here is individual: the tiles are laid piece by piece as on a real roof, so you can allow yourself irregularity, a shifted course or a missing piece, which you will never get out of a finished sheet with a molded pattern.
Printed parts have no casting blocks but thin carrier supports, which you cut off with a sharp knife. The tiles are laid from the bottom upward, each course overlapping the one below, and they are glued with cyanoacrylate or with PVA glue, which gives more time to line them up. Lay down a primer before painting. A fired tile is not one single color: lay down a base tone, then tone the individual tiles irregularly toward red, brown and gray and unify the whole with a dark seeping coat in the joints. Moss at the eaves and on the north side will give the roof its age.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and it is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
