An extensive and detailed plastic kit of the Soviet coastal anti-ship missile system 4K51 Rubezh with the P-15 missile in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model is exceptionally richly broken down, contains photo-etched parts and is meant for more experienced modelers who will appreciate a demanding build.
The Rubezh is a mobile coastal anti-ship missile system built on the heavy eight-wheeled MAZ-543 chassis. It carries a launcher with P-15 (Termit) anti-ship missiles and served to defend the coast against surface targets. It was widely exported and became a typical element of the coastal defense of a number of countries.
On a sizable model with a great many parts, proceed systematically; finish the drivetrain and the chassis before you fit the superstructure. Use thin cement for plastic and super glue for the photo-etched parts. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and weathering with dust and mud effects; the rubber tires are shaded with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
