Trumpeter Russian ChTZ S-65 Tractor 1:35 is a plastic kit of the Soviet tracked artillery tractor.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet tracked artillery tractor ChTZ S-65 Stalinets in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model offers a richly detailed running gear with individual link tracks to be assembled, and photo-etched parts. The boxing contains plastic parts, a photo-etched part and a decal sheet.
The Stalinets S-65 was the most widely used Soviet tracked tractor of the Second World War. It was powered by a diesel engine and was used above all for towing heavy guns such as the large howitzers, and for recovery and construction work. It was built in Chelyabinsk in the second half of the 1930s and served in huge numbers during the war.
We recommend assembling and painting the individual link tracks and the running gear before the hull is finished. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. For a convincing working look, use a primer, spray the base shade with an airbrush and add pronounced washes, pigments and a dry brush for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
