This kit from Trumpeter brings the Russian Object 199 BMPT Ramka tank support fighting vehicle with the launcher for ATAKA anti-tank guided missiles in 1:35 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted, complemented by photo-etched sheet and a decal sheet.
The BMPT Ramka, nicknamed the Terminator, is based on the chassis of the T-72 tank and is intended to support tanks and infantry, above all in built-up areas. It carries a pair of 30 mm autocannons and, on either side of the gun armament, launchers for ATAKA anti-tank guided missiles. The combination of cannons and guided missiles gives the vehicle a wide range of targets.
Assemble the running gear and the tracks first, and only then the hull and the turret with its armament. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, lay the base shade on with an airbrush and bring out the intricate surface with washes and with pigments for dust and mud effects. Fix the decals onto a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
