A plastic kit of the modern Russian T-72B3M main battle tank with the KMT-8 mine clearing system in 1:35 scale from Meng. The model faithfully captures the Relikt reactive armor and the modular slat armor. The KMT-8 system can be built in the stowed or in the working position; all the crew hatches can be opened and the running gear has working torsion bar suspension.
The T-72B3M is a deep modernization of the proven Russian T-72 tank. It brought a new fire control system, a more powerful engine and extensive protection by Relikt reactive armor completed with slat armor against shaped-charge ammunition. The KMT-8 plow-type mine clearing system allows the vehicle to break through minefields.
Use liquid cement on the plastic. Finish the running gear with its torsion bar suspension first and only then close the hull up. Spray primer and the base camouflage with an airbrush; create the mud and dust effects on the mine clearing plow and the running gear with pigments and washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
