An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Jagdpanther Ausf.G1 tank destroyer (Sd.Kfz.173) in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Meng. The set contains plastic parts and a photo-etched fret and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It offers several variants of the exhaust system, of the barrel mounting and of the muzzle brake, so it allows different production forms of the vehicle to be built.
The Jagdpanther was built on the chassis of the Panther tank and combined its mobility and armor with a powerful 88 mm anti-tank gun. The low, well armored superstructure made it a feared opponent for Allied tanks. Most of the vehicles built belonged to the Ausf.G1 version, committed in the closing stages of the Second World War.
Before you start, choose the particular variant of the details and fit the exhausts, the gun barrel and the muzzle brake accordingly. Assemble and paint the running gear before finishing the hull. Apply a primer to the model, then the base shade and the camouflage scheme with an airbrush; create the weathering and dust effects with washes and pigments. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
