Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German half-track armored personnel carrier rebuilt into a carrier for an anti-tank gun. Injection-molded plastic, a new tooling from 2024. It is an extensive kit with individual track links; figures are not in the package.
The /22 version came about in the last phase of the war by building a 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, together with its protective shield, into the open fighting compartment of the Ausf.D hull. The aim was to get a strong anti-tank weapon onto a mobile chassis without making demands on tank production. The machine was tall, vulnerable and gave the crew only partial protection, yet it could knock out even heavy vehicles. Production started in December 1944 and ended in the first months of 1945, so only a small number of vehicles were built.
Finish and paint the running gear and the inside of the hull before you close the body up — with an open hull the interior is well visible in the end. Glue the link tracks on the wheels so that the sag sits right. Use thin cement on the plastic and spray the whole model with primer before painting. Build the weathering up in layers: a wash into the recesses, then dust and mud pigments from the bottom up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
