An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet 152 mm self-propelled howitzer 2S3 in its early version in 1:35 scale. The set uses slide-mold technology for a richly broken-down surface and contains tracks made of individual links and a photo-etched part.
The 2S3, nicknamed Akatsiya, is a Soviet self-propelled howitzer of 152.4 mm caliber developed at the end of the 1960s and brought into service at the beginning of the 1970s. Its gun is based on the towed D-20 howitzer. The vehicle was among the basic means of artillery support of Soviet formations; in the West it was given the designation M1973.
Assemble the running gear and the individual track links before finishing the hull. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic joints, apply a primer and paint with an airbrush. You create weathering with a wash and with dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
