A 3D-printed resin set of lights and their protective guards for models of the T-72 and T-90 tanks in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives one piece in the package, that is one set of parts. It is equipment for ground armor; the manufacturer does not separate the two types in the designation and writes them as a single string.
The protective cages and frames over the headlights are among the most conspicuous external details on Soviet and Russian tanks: thin welded wires and sheet guards that cannot be made thin enough in injection-molded plastic, so they come out of the mold as coarse blocks. Resin printing helps most of all here, because it holds thin sections and open gaps. And because the guards sit right at the front of the vehicle, they decide how the model comes across.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
