This resin accessory in 1:35 scale represents the American field stove used for heating tents. It is not a vehicle kit but an object in its own right for a scene. A stove belongs to the equipment that turns a campsite into an inhabited place: where there is a stove there is also smoke from the flue, a pile of fuel and somebody warming himself by it.
In the field the American army used portable stoves that could be set up in a tent with the smoke led out through a pipe. Depending on the version they burned wood or liquid fuel, and they were indispensable wherever there was fighting in winter, from the Ardennes to the mountain regions of Italy. It was precisely this inconspicuous equipment that decided whether a unit stayed fit to fight in winter.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, so that any residue from production disappears from the surface. Cut off the remains of the supports with a sharp blade or a saw and level the surface, protecting your breathing while sanding. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. The stove comes into its own when, over the base shade, you darken the surface around the door and the flue and add rust and soot, because nobody in the field ever saw a clean stove.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
