The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier, one of the most widespread of its kind in the world. The M113A2 version brought improvements to the powerplant, the cooling system and the suspension. The carrier served to transport infantry and in a range of derived roles; the desert rendering refers to service in arid regions.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, and assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull. A primer, an airbrush and a patina of washes and pigments for the dust and mud effects typical of desert service are recommended.
