1:35 Vickers Medium Tank MK II is an injection-molded plastic kit of the British interwar medium tank from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Injection-molded plastic kit of the British Vickers Medium Mk II medium tank in 1:35 scale from the Chinese manufacturer Hobby Boss. The hull, the superstructure and the turret are divided onto separate sprues, so the interior of the hull can be finished before it is closed. It is a classic static model for gluing and painting, not a toy to play with.
The Vickers Medium Mk II was derived from the Medium Mk I type and from the mid-1920s it formed the core of the British armored forces. Against its predecessor it received a taller superstructure, a reworked suspension with armor skirts and the so-called Rackham clutches, which made it easier to control. The main armament was a 3-pounder gun supplemented by Vickers machine guns. The machines were built and progressively modernized until the first half of the 1930s; from the late 1930s faster cruiser tanks replaced them with the combat units and the Vickers lived out its days mainly in training.
Finish and paint the running gear and the inside of the hull while the model is open: once the superstructure is glued on, you will not reach them. Riveted surfaces take a thin coat of filler primer, so that the seams of the sprues are leveled and the rivets stay sharp. After the base shade, interwar equipment comes out especially well with a dark wash in the gaps and with fine dust pigments on the running gear.
