A plastic kit of the German Zwillingssockel 36 anti-aircraft twin mount of the Second World War in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Zwillingssockel 36 was a German pedestal with a twin mount for two machine guns, used during the Second World War for defense against low-flying aircraft. A pair of weapons side by side doubled the density of fire, and the rotating pedestal allowed the target to be followed quickly and permitted high elevation. Such a position appeared on vehicles, on railway wagons and on fixed emplacements, so it suits models of vehicles as well as dioramas of rear-area defense.
This is a plastic kit in 1:35 scale focused on the weapon system itself. A small subject has the advantage that it can be built as a standalone display on a base, as an addition to a vehicle model or as part of a small scene with figures. The instructions and the box state exactly what the package contains, how many parts it has and which schemes it offers.
The kit suits builders of military vehicles who want to complete a vehicle or to build a small scene without a large investment of time. Given the small parts it is more suitable for modelers with experience. Paints, glue, figures and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
