The A-10 has a high-set cockpit with a large one-piece canopy and an excellent view out, and that holds the other way round as well, inwards. A double-sided version therefore makes sense: the frames can be sprayed from the inside with an interior shade and from the outside with the airframe color, so that after the canopy is closed no bare clear plastic shows through anywhere. On a model with a carefully built cockpit it can be told at first glance.
The A-10 is a single-seat twin-engine ground-attack aircraft intended for close support of ground troops, built around a seven-barrel cannon. The A-10C version is an upgraded variant with a digital cockpit and the ability to carry precision munitions. The pilot sits in an armored tub, and the cockpit is short and tall.
Degrease the clear part and lay the masks with tweezers. First spray the interior shade from the inside, let it dry, and only then stick the outer masks on and paint the airframe. Apply the paint in thin coats at right angles to the edge of the mask. Take the masks off shortly after the paint has dried, while the coat of varnish is still thin.
The masking set is an accessory for a model, and the model itself and paints are not included in the package.
