1:48 B-25 Mitchell — pilots' seats without belts from Art Scale are 3D-printed resin parts for the cockpit of the Mitchell, for modelers who add the belts themselves.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin parts produced by 3D printing: the pilots' seats for the cockpit of the B-25 Mitchell in 1:48 scale, in the version without printed belts. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory that replaces parts from the plastic kit. This variant is intended for modelers who want to solve the belts their own way, with photo-etched parts, 3D-printed decals or fabric. The manufacturer also makes a sister set with the belts printed directly on the seats.
The Mitchell had two pilot seats side by side in the cockpit, of shell construction, with padding and multi-point belts. The pilot's seat is one of the first parts a person notices on a finished model with an open cockpit, and a simplified plastic part is exactly what pulls down the overall impression of the interior. The machine served as a medium bomber on all the main fronts of the Second World War.
Wash the seats in warm soapy water, break the supports off the print after warming them in hot water and level the seating surfaces with a file. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). After the primer apply the base color of the interior and bring out the pressed detail with a dark wash. Add the belts last, so that they are not damaged while the parts are handled.
The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
