Responsibility details are not available.
A double boxing of injection-molded plastic kits from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM: two Douglas B-26 Invader bombers in 1:48 scale in their Korean War form. One of the machines has a glazed front section, that is the form of the B-26C version. The name of the boxing refers to the period paintings of women on the noses, which crews used as a talisman.
The Douglas Invader came about during the Second World War as a twin-engine attack bomber and after 1948 received the designation B-26. In Korea it served mainly for strikes on ground targets and on transport routes, often at night. The machines were built in several forms: with fixed gun armament in the nose, or with a glazed nose for a navigator and bombardier.
A twin-engine bomber in 1:48 is a large model, so it is good to think through in advance the order of painting the cockpit and the engine nacelles before the fuselage is closed. Mask the glazed nose carefully; every bleed shows in the result. Lay a gloss coat first under the decals, of which there tend to be plenty on a subject like this.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
