The F/A-18 Hornet is an American carrier-based multirole fighter able to carry out both fighter and strike tasks. It is powered by two turbofan engines and, thanks to its rugged structure and folding wings, it is suited to operating from aircraft carriers. The designation CF-188 belongs to the version operated by the Royal Canadian Air Force; A+ is the modernized single-seat variant and B the two-seat one.
This is a detailed kit with a lot of small parts and precise fits, so work carefully and dry-fit the joints beforehand. Finish and install the cockpit before the fuselage is closed, and fit the glazing after painting, protecting it with masks. Think through whether you want to build the wings spread or folded. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and accentuated panel lines; fit the external stores and the pylons at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
