Grumman A-6 Intruder mirrors 1:48 (QuickBoost) Replacement rearview mirrors for the canopy frame of A-6 Intruder models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Small replacement parts for building the American carrier-borne attack aircraft Grumman A-6 Intruder in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the rearview mirrors that were mounted on the canopy frame and that inevitably come out too thick in plastic. The box does not state a particular target kit. The QuickBoost brand belongs to the Czech maker Aires Hobby Models and specializes in simple replacement parts.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a carrier-borne attack aircraft for all-weather strikes. The crew was a pilot and a navigator sitting side by side, power came from two turbojets without afterburners, and the aircraft could carry a large load of bombs on five hardpoints. Characteristic features were the round nose with its radar and the folding wings. It served the US Navy and the Marine Corps from the 1960s right into the 1990s.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before gluing, so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc, never with sprue nippers, which will break resin up. Sand the mating surface flat and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy, because cement for plastic will not hold here. When sanding resin, use a respirator or sand wet, as the dust is not good to breathe.
This is an add-on for a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
