CMK Hawker Hunter ejection seat (1:48)

This product is NOT an airplane model but a resin detail part: a Martin-Baker Mk.2 ejection seat for models of the British Hawker Hunter jet fighter in 1:48 scale. The cast seat offers fine harness straps, handles and a level of detail that lifts the look of the cockpit considerably over the simplified plastic part.

Use

  • It replaces the kit ejection seat with a more faithful casting.
  • Wash the part free of mold release agent residue before gluing.
  • Cut the casting block off carefully and clean the surface up with respiratory protection.
  • It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate).

For modelers who want to raise the realism of the cockpit with a small resin accessory.

This is an accessory for detailing; the model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.

A cast resin Martin-Baker Mk.2 ejection seat for models of the Hunter; it is not a whole model.

Super glue (cyanoacrylate) holds best; ordinary cement for plastic does not work on resin.

Yes, we recommend washing it free of mold release agent and cutting the casting block off.
