This is not an aircraft kit but a metal detail accessory. The set contains four turned brass barrels of the Japanese 20mm Type 99 aircraft cannon. They replace the simplified plastic barrels and give the model an accurate, hollow-bored muzzle.
The Type 99 cannon was based on the Oerlikon design and made up the main wing armament of Japanese naval fighters of the Second World War, above all the types of the A6M Zero family. It appeared in versions with a shorter and with a longer barrel.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole of the matching diameter and glue the turned part in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal parts before painting and work with tweezers.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
