A-4 Skyhawk cannon barrels 1:72 (QuickBoost) are replacement cannon barrels for the Airfix A-4 Skyhawk kit in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement parts for building the American carrier-based attack aircraft Douglas A-4 Skyhawk in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the cannon barrels at the leading edges of the wing, which in a plastic kit are usually solid and coarse. The box gives the Skyhawk from Airfix as the target kit. The QuickBoost brand belongs to the Czech maker Aires Hobby Models and produces simple replacement parts.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a small, light carrier-based attack aircraft with a delta wing that did not have to fold. It was designed by Ed Heinemann with the emphasis on low weight, and it was named after him. The armament consisted of two 20 mm cannons at the wing roots and pylons for bombs and rockets. Skyhawks served the US Navy and the US Marine Corps from the 1950s and were exported to a number of countries.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before gluing so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, as otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. Sand the mating surface flat and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, because cement for plastic will not hold here. When sanding resin use a respirator or sand wet; the dust is not good to breathe.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
