Painting masks for the EMB-145 airliner in 1:72 scale from Clear Prop Models. The name states that the set covers all versions of the type.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masks intended for a model of the Brazilian regional jet EMB-145. The name states that all versions of the type are allowed for. It is not a model of the airplane but an aid that covers the glazing while spraying. On an airliner that is work which decides the result more than on a fighter, because there are many windows and they are visible from every angle.
The EMB-145 is a twin-engine jet for short routes, developed in Brazil from an earlier turboprop machine. The engines are mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage, and the tail has the classic arrangement with the horizontal surface on top of the fin. The narrow fuselage takes a row of seats on the left of the aisle and two on the right, which is typical of this class. Besides the airliners, derived military versions for patrol and reconnaissance duties were built as well.
Finish the filling and sanding of the whole fuselage first, because sanding around the windows is awkward once they are covered. Lay the masks on a smooth base and run the blunt side of a tweezer along the edge. On white airliner finishes it pays to even the base out with a gray primer first, so that any unfinished work shows. Once the masking is off, look at the window frame against the light and scrape any small runs away with a toothpick.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and clear coat are bought separately, unless stated otherwise.
