Junkers Ju-87 D-1 Stuka North Africa 1:72 from Hobby 2000 is a plastic kit of the legendary German single-engine dive bomber in the version for the North African front.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Hobby 2000, the North Africa edition. The kit is a rebox of the proven Fujimi mold complemented with its own decals and painting masks, focused on the Ju-87 D-1 version deployed over North Africa. The exact number of parts and color schemes is given on the packaging and in the instructions.
The Junkers Ju 87, nicknamed the Stuka (Sturzkampfflugzeug, or dive bomber), was a German single-engine dive bomber with characteristic inverted gull wings and fixed spatted landing gear. The D-1 version of 1941 brought an aerodynamically improved fuselage, a more powerful Junkers Jumo 211 engine and tougher armor. The D-1 machines proved themselves in the dusty conditions of the North African theater too, where they carried desert camouflage.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints down once dry. Paint and accent the interior of the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. For desert camouflage an airbrush and a base layer of primer suit well; decals seat better on a gloss coat and a flat coat unifies the whole surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
