This short-run plastic kit from Amodel in 1:72 scale captures the twin-engine Learjet 35A business jet. The set offers decals for two versions, among them a Brazilian-registered aircraft and a Luxembourg machine in air-ambulance configuration. The finished model is about 20 cm long.
The Learjet 35 is an American light business jet with two engines on the rear fuselage. The 35A version was built in large numbers and extended both the range and the equipment. Besides corporate and charter work, the aircraft were used for air-ambulance flights, for training and, in the military C-21A version, for liaison and transport duties.
With a short-run mold, expect to clean up the molding edges and possibly to sand the mating surfaces. A glossy corporate finish looks best over a smoothly sanded base; decals hold best on a gloss coat and it is worth sealing them with a final clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
