An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the maker Trumpeter, in the late production version of the tractor with a lowboy semi-trailer. The package contains a larger number of plastic parts, rubber tires and a decal sheet. It is a sizeable combination of tractor and semi-trailer, ideal as the basis for a transport scene with armored equipment.
The MAZ-537G is a Soviet heavy cross-country tractor intended to move oversized and heavy loads, above all tanks and missile equipment. Together with the ChMZAP-5247G lowboy semi-trailer it formed the basis of military transport of armored vehicles over long distances. A powerful engine and a robust structure made it the backbone of Soviet Cold War logistics.
Work in subassemblies: first the running gear of the tractor and the frame of the semi-trailer, and only then the bodies; glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Apply a filling primer, spray the base shade with an airbrush and paint the rubber tires separately. Create the weathering with a dark wash and dust or mud pigments, above all on the running gear and the load bed of the semi-trailer.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
