The Pz.Kpfw I Ausf.B 1:72 (First to Fight) is a simple plastic kit of the German light tank of the early Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from First to Fight captures the German Panzer I light tank in the Ausf.B version. The model, from the range devoted to the campaign of 1939, has a low parts count, a decal sheet and assembly and painting instructions printed straight on the box.
The Panzer I Ausf.B came about by lengthening the hull compared with the Ausf.A so that it could take a more powerful, water-cooled engine. With the longer hull came one more road wheel in the suspension. The vehicle was armed with a pair of machine guns in the turret and served both for training and in combat, among other places during the Spanish Civil War and in the first years of the Second World War.
Thanks to the small number of parts the build is quick and manageable even for beginners. Glue the joints with a thin plastic cement, apply a base coat and spray the shades with an airbrush or paint them with a brush. Dark washes will bring out the running gear and the rivets.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
