SEPECAT Jaguar exhaust nozzles 1:72 (Aires) are resin replacement exhaust nozzles for the Hasegawa Jaguar kit in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin replacement exhaust nozzles for building the British and French attack aircraft SEPECAT Jaguar in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the simplified plastic nozzles at the end of the fuselage with a pair of more accurately made parts with a deep interior. The box gives the Jaguar from Hasegawa as the target kit. The maker is the Czech Aires Hobby Models, which specializes in resin detail sets.
The SEPECAT Jaguar came about as a joint British and French project for an aircraft that was originally a trainer but in the end was above all an attack aircraft. It was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour engines and the aircraft was built for low flying over the terrain with a large load of bombs. The British Jaguars proved themselves in the Gulf War and on patrol flights over the Balkans, while the French machines saw action in Africa. The versions differed above all in the equipment in the nose.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water before gluing so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, as otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a cutting disc, never with nippers, which will break the resin. Sand the mating surface flat and glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy, because cement for plastic will not hold here. When sanding resin use a respirator or sand wet; the dust is not good to breathe.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
