Moonstone Grey acrylic paint from Green Stuff World. A water-thinnable paint in a light gray shade for brush and airbrush alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
An acrylic paint in a light gray shade. Acrylic is water-thinnable chemistry, so the brushes are rinsed out with water and there is no smell of solvents in the room. Light gray shades are among the most used paints on the modeling bench: they serve as a base, as the undersurface of aircraft, as concrete in dioramas and as a foundation for drawing out the highlights.
Shake the paint thoroughly before use so that the pigment settled at the bottom is mixed back in. On a brush it is applied almost unthinned; for the airbrush thin it with water or with a thinner intended for acrylics. On bare plastic, on resin and on metal use a primer, otherwise the coat will not hold well. Work in thin coats; one heavy coat fills the engraved lines and the detail is lost.
Light shades cover less well than dark ones, so count on several coats or on a light base. If you want to bring the surface to life, mix a drop of white into the base and lighten the centers of the panels. Acrylic dries quickly on the brush, so rinse the brush often while working and do not leave it standing in the paint. Wipe the cap after use so that it does not dry shut.
Shake before use. Keep it in a closed bottle out of the reach of children and protect it from frost.
