Responsibility details are not available.
An English-language monograph from the Warpaint aviation series, published by Guideline Publications. The text was written by Jakub Fojtik. It is not a kit but a publication on the first Czechoslovak jet aircraft of domestic design. The volume follows the development of the type, its versions and its service in operation.
The L-29 Delfin was a trainer with a single turbojet and a T-tail, and it held its own in the joint competition for a trainer type for the Eastern Bloc. It was deliberately built to be undemanding: a simple system and a structure that took operation from grass strips as well as the hands of beginning pilots. That is precisely why it became the standard trainer of a whole group of air forces and more than three thousand were built. A number of machines later came into private hands and fly to this day.
For modelers of the L-29 and for readers interested in Czechoslovak aircraft production. A reviewer points out that the volume does not cover the camouflage schemes of all the foreign operators of the type. The text is in English.
