An aid that solves the most common problem in working with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue): how to apply a drop the size of a pinhead to a place the size of a pinhead. The glue is dripped onto the stainless steel pad of the stand and picked up from there with a thin applicator, which doses it exactly where it belongs. On stainless steel the drop also does not spread and can be drawn from repeatedly.
The body is of aluminum alloy and the underside has a non-slip layer, so the stand neither slips nor slides across the bench if you catch it during work. The pad and the applicators are of stainless steel, from which dried glue can be peeled off once cured instead of settling on it permanently. According to the manufacturer there are seven applicators in the set.
The stand will be appreciated by anyone who glues small parts, photo-etched parts, brass pins and resin, that is work in which surplus glue is a worse problem than a shortage of it. The glue itself is not included in the package.
