Aventus Handle - Cosmic Black, the Gaahleri rear handle

A replacement rear handle for the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush in the Cosmic Black version, manufacturer's part number 47408. It is a single part of the tool, not an airbrush and not a set of parts.

What the handle does

The handle screws onto the rear of the body, closes off the rear end of the needle with the spring assembly, and is at the same time the place where the fingers hold the tool. At every deeper cleaning it comes off first and goes back on last, so it is handled far more often than the other parts, and the thread or an edge suffers all the more after a drop onto the bench. The Aventus body is machined from a single block of aluminum and anodized, and the manufacturer builds it as a three-piece modular body whose module colors can be combined. Changing the handle is therefore the easiest way to change the look of the tool without buying a new one.
