Aventus Handle - Lake Blue

Aventus Handle - Lake Blue, the Gaahleri rear handle

A replacement rear handle for the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush in the lake blue Lake Blue version, manufacturer's part number 47460. The package holds a single part of the tool, not an airbrush.

What the handle does

The handle screws onto the rear of the body, closes off the rear end of the needle and the spring assembly, and forms the surface by which the airbrush is held. It is the part handled most often: at every deeper cleaning it is unscrewed and refitted, so it is the first place you will see scuffed anodizing, and after a drop a dent or a seized thread. The Aventus body is machined from a single block of aluminum and anodized; the manufacturer built it as a three-piece modular body with combinable colors, so the owner can retune the tool by changing a single part.

What to watch when choosing

• Lake blue is the lighter of the blue variants; the darker one is Midnight Blue.
• The color has no effect on how the tool runs or sprays; it is a choice of looks.
• The Aventus airbrush came in several generations, so compare the version with your own tool.

Who the part is for

For owners of the Gaahleri Aventus airbrush who put the tool together in a lighter blue combination, and for those whose original handle was damaged or lost during a strip-down. Tighten it with your fingers only: a damaged thread in the body can no longer be repaired.

This is a spare part, not an airbrush. The airbrush, the needle, the nozzle and other spare parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
