A self-healing cutting mat in A3 format in a blue finish, marked with a scale. Self-healing means that the track left by the blade largely closes up again after a cut; the mat therefore stays smooth for a long time and the knife does not slip into old grooves. The A3 format covers the working surface even on larger projects.
It serves as a base for cutting plastic sheet, photo-etched parts, films, paper and masking tape, and at the same time it protects the table. The printed scale and grid make measuring and checking a right angle easier, which anyone who makes their own parts or builds structures for dioramas will appreciate.
Cut with a sharp knife, because a blunt blade tears the mat rather than cutting it. Do not expose the mat to heat or direct sun, as it could warp permanently. Do not cut on it with a metal disc or with a hot tool. Wipe it with a damp cloth after work; otherwise small residues of glue and paint would stay in the grid and make the scale illegible.
