CF07 Waffen SS Plane Tree Autumn / Winter Camouflage is a Lifecolor paint set for the autumn and winter, that is the brown side of the Waffen-SS plane tree pattern. The spring and summer version is offered by the manufacturer separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A paint set from the Italian manufacturer Lifecolor for the plane tree pattern (Platanenmuster) of the Waffen-SS, and that in the autumn and winter version. That is exactly where the whole difference against the second set of the same pattern lies: this set covers the autumn and winter side, whereas the spring and summer version of the same pattern is offered by the manufacturer as a separate set. The plane tree pattern was in fact reversible, with a brown autumn side and a green spring and summer side, so one and the same camouflage smock could be worn inside out according to the season. Anyone who buys the wrong version will get the shades of the other side of the fabric. The binder is acrylic and the paints are thinned with water or with thinner of the same brand. This is different chemistry from enamel or lacquer, so do not thin or mix them with solvent-based paints.
For builders of figures and dioramas from the years of the Second World War who need the shades of one side of the fabric together and do not want to mix them from general military colors. The pattern is painted in layers: first the base surface, then the groups of blotches, and finally the highlighting of the edges. In small scales simplify the blotches, otherwise the surface will merge.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use, the pigment settles to the bottom. Work in a ventilated space and use respiratory protection with an airbrush. The thinning ratio and the drying time are stated on the box.
The paints are supplied in the package in the volume stated. The thinner and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
