A coarser mesh with larger holes is what you need where the structure should be visible at first glance: stowage baskets, protective grilles, wire mesh around a depot or a screen over a large radiator. The material is metal, so it holds its shape, and according to the manufacturer it is intended for models of combat vehicles in 1:35 scale. The sheet measures 19 x 10.5 centimeters and is cut as needed. It is not a finished part but a material for further working.
Cut the mesh with sharp scissors or sheet metal shears and true the edges up with a file, because sharp burrs are left on metal. It is bonded with super glue applied around the edge rather than in the middle of the area. Degrease the metal and apply a primer before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. Wire mesh on a diorama only looks convincing once it sags or is torn somewhere: a perfectly flat surface reads as a product rather than as something that has stood there for years.
The material is supplied as a sheet for further working. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
