Luftwaffe Assault Aviation

ICM: an acrylic paint set for the Luftwaffe

A set of modeling acrylic paints from the maker ICM, put together for painting models of German aircraft from the period of the Second World War. These are water-thinnable acrylic paints in screw-top bottles of 12 ml, whose shades correspond to the colors of the period used on Luftwaffe machines. A final satin clear coat for unifying the surface is usually included as well.

Use

• Shake the paint thoroughly before use.
• For a brush the paint can be used directly; for an airbrush thin it with water (roughly up to half the volume) or with the thinner recommended by the manufacturer.
• Apply it in thin covering coats on a cleaned, ideally primed surface.
• Wash brushes and tools with water before the paint has dried.

Who the set is for

For modelers of German aircraft of the Second World War who want the shades of the period together in one package and prefer water-thinnable acrylics.

These are modeling paints, not a kit. For the specific use and the safety instructions see the box; work in a ventilated room.
