Paint mixing bottles, three to a package, from DSPIAE. For mixing up a shade to keep in reserve and for paint already thinned for the airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Empty bottles in which you mix your own shade or prepare paint thinned for the airbrush in advance. The point is simple: a shade mixed straight in the cup of an airbrush will never be repeated, whereas the one in a closed bottle keeps and still matches when you spray the same model again weeks later. The package holds three pieces.
Always label the bottle, either with a sticker or with a spirit marker pen. Without a label there is no telling after a month what is inside, and the shade has to be mixed all over again. It is a good idea to drop a mixing ball into the bottle as well, so that settled pigment disperses when you shake it. Wipe the thread after every use, because dried paint on it keeps the bottle from closing fully and the contents then dry out.
Check the compatibility with the solvent you use. Water-thinnable acrylics are taken by practically any plastic, but an aggressive lacquer thinner can attack some materials. If you are not sure, let a small dose of thinner stand in the bottle for a day and only then mix a whole reserve into it.
Paint and thinner are not included in the package.
It pays to keep the habit of mixing a little more paint into the bottle than is needed at the moment. The remainder serves for touching up a spot scuffed during handling, and that is exactly where a difference in shade shows most.
