This is an aid for an airbrush, not the gun itself: a holder in which you hang the spray gun when you put it down between individual steps of the work. This version is meant to be mounted on the left side of the working place, so that it can be set up without crossing your hand as you work. A gun laid down rolls away easily, the cup of paint spills and the needle bends on impact.
For anyone who sprays with an airbrush and wants the gun at hand on the side from which they take it. The choice of side is no small matter: a holder on the wrong side means that at every put-down you pass your hand over the model, and that is exactly where accidents happen. The manufacturer also carries a version for the right side and the large version.
Keep the holder out of the reach of children. Take care that the hanging gun does not stand over open containers of thinner, because the remains of paint can drip from the nozzle. Never leave a hanging gun with paint in the cup for any length of time either: the paint will dry in the nozzle, and cleaning a dried nozzle is far more laborious than flushing it right after work. It is also sensible to place the holder so that the gun does not hang over the model you are working on.
