A handle for fine detailing brush tips, from DSPIAE. A triangular cross section; the tips are changed as needed.
Responsibility details are not available.
The handle on its own, with a seat for interchangeable brush tips. The point of the design is that the whole brush is not thrown away as soon as the point splays, only the tip. The handle has a triangular cross section that does not turn in the fingers, and deliberately very low weight; during longer work on small details that tells more than one would expect.
Fit the tip into the seat and tighten the front section; when changing it do not forget to put the spring back, otherwise the tip will not seat and slides in as you draw. Take paint onto the point only, never as far as the root of the bristle, because there it stiffens and the point splays for good. Clean the tip with the appropriate thinner after work and let it dry lying flat.
The handle is shared with other tools from the same line, so the nib for running in panel lines belongs in it as well. The contents of the package beyond the handle itself are not stated here, so count on possibly having to obtain the tips separately.
Paints and thinner are not included in the package.
The handle is worth getting for anyone who paints detail regularly. For one single job a ready-made brush will do, but anyone who paints often changes tips several times a year, and that is where a shared handle shows its worth.
